Taste of Jo'burg is an amazing four day celebration of fine food and drink, set at the prestigious Wanderers Club. This spring, 17 of Jo'burg and Pretoria's top restaurants and chefs will be serving a stunning selection of sample sized signature dishes to Taste of Jo'burg visitors. It is a fantastic opportunity to try new places, explore different cuisines and plan a whole year of dining out.
Taste of Jo'burg isn't just about sampling mouth watering dishes, it's also a chance to improve your culinary skills, watch experts in action or educate your palate with a range of tasting sessions.

Forum Homini & Moments in Time
Moments in Time is a multi-dimensional multi-media project that celebrates the human spirit and honours South Africans who have shown hope in the face of despair, passion in the face of pain and joy in the face of sadness.
Through the photographic lens of Merwelene van der Merwe and selected narrative and prose by Matthias Haus, the profound practical and spiritual realities experienced by people living with cancer are verbally and visually captured and made accessible to us all.
This year, Forum Homini Boutique Hotel was fortunate to be selected as the venue for this unique project. We shared some memorable Moments in Time with the AstraZeneca team, and now we would like to share these moments with you.
Wine Tastings at Roots
October Wine tasting with gourmet dinner: Weltevrede Wine Estate

Over the years, Weltevrede has often taken the lead and has numerous industry firsts and awards to its credit, including in 1975, the first Breede Valley estate to bottle its own wine, Weltevrede Colombard, and in 1983 the first Gewüürztraminer in the Robertson Valley

Saturday brunch
After a well deserved sleep-in on a Saturday morning you can treat yourself to a laidback 5-course brunch and a glass of sparkling wine, served from 10:00 - 14:30 every Saturday. Cost R150.00 per person.
Sunday Jazz lunch
Enjoy live Jazz music with a gastronomic 6-course Sunday lunch, served from 12:00pm - 16:00pm. This event is very popular so PLEASE book in advance. Cost R245.00 per person.
